Sometimes ASI student Toby Lester's new book has appeared The Fourth Part of the World. It's about the map that gave America its name, the 1507 Waldseemüller map. (Lester is a contributing editor to The Atlantic.)

ASI student Bronwen Anders, MD, has been active in assisting Haiti before and after the earthquake.  Her new project is reading material for Haitian kids.
